You depart from your hotel in private transportation for a full day excursion to explore the remote temples of Koh Ker and Beng Mealea. Your first stop is Koh Ker temple served as the capital of the Khmer empire from 928 to 944, it was built by King Jayavarman IV.  Explore the 30 major structures of the mysterious site and walk through the ruins of sacred buildings and religious sculptures. Some of the giant sculptures from Koh Ker now make up the collection at the grand National Museum in Phnom Penh. Next, we continue our trip to Beng Mealea temple, known as the sister of Angkor Wat.
