English-Speaking License Tour Guide with driver will pick you up from your hotel and transfer to visit the world-famous temples in Angkor archeological site:

1. Preah Khan temple is located in the Angkor Archaeological Park and is still largely unrestored. It is one of the larger temple complexes within the historic park. Preah Khan translates to “Holy Sword” in Khmer, named by Jayavarman VII.

2. Neak Poan temple, is a Buddhist temple which sits in the middle of a circular artificial island in Jayatataka Baray. It was built by the king Jayavarman VII in the middle of the 12th century. The temple was originally designed as a hospital, it was thought bathing in the pools here would cure disease. Each of the four pools are said to represent wind, fire, water and earth.

3. Ta Som temple is a captivating and charming temple. It was built by King Jayavarman VII, this Buddhist temple looks similar to many temples built at that time. There is a tree growing through part of the structure which provides excellent photo opportunities like Ta Prohm temple.

4. East Mebon temple was built in the second half of the tenth century (952) by king Rajendravarman II, dedicated to Siva (Hindu), an ancestor temple in memory of the parents of the king.

5. Pre Rup was the state temple of King Rajendravarman II. It is a mountain temple build in the year 961, located just South of the large East baray.

6. Banteay Srei temple is one of the most popular temples in Siem Reap. It’s known as the “lady temple” or the “pink temple” and is a 10th century Hindu temple dedicated to Shiva. It’s often said that Banteay Srei is the “jewel of Khmer art” because of all the intricate carvings. In fact, the name means the “citadel of the women” and this modern name comes from the belief that the carvings are so fine that they could only have been done by the hands of a woman.
